Temporary inboxes expire
Addresses, access credentials, and messages are cleared when the displayed validity period ends, no later than 24 hours after creation.
This policy explains what data VuSend processes when providing temporary email and forwarding, why we process it, how long we keep it, and how you can submit requests.
Addresses, access credentials, and messages are cleared when the displayed validity period ends, no later than 24 hours after creation.
Your destination email is used for login, delivery, and security notifications, and is not shown to senders.
Forwarding archives help check delivery status and troubleshoot issues, then are automatically deleted when the retention period ends.
Privacy and security requests can be sent to support@vusend.com. We will verify your identity first.

This policy applies to temporary email, forwarding aliases, message archives, and support services on vusend.com. Third-party sender websites, your destination email provider, and external links in messages have their own policies; we cannot determine how they process data.
VuSend is responsible for processing activities it determines to operate this site. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, make sure you are authorized to submit the destination email and related requests.
When you create a temporary email address, the system generates an address, access credentials, creation time, and expiry time. After receiving messages, it also processes necessary content such as the sender, subject, body, and delivery time. Temporary inboxes do not require a VuSend account and are not used to create a long-term user profile.
This information is used only to display the inbox, refresh messages, extend the validity period, and prevent access by anyone without the credentials. After the address expires, it enters an automatic cleanup process; old credentials cannot restore the inbox.
When you use forwarding, we process your destination email, login verification status, aliases, active status, quota, and creation time. The destination email is used to send verification codes, forward messages, and deliver necessary security information; senders usually see only the alias.
When two-step verification is enabled, the system processes a protected representation of the TOTP secret and verification results. We will never ask you to provide a current one-time code or the complete setup secret to support staff.
To receive, forward, and archive messages, the system must briefly process message headers, bodies, and attachments. Temporary inboxes do not retain attachments; in forwarding scenarios, large attachments may be delivered only to the destination email and not stored as a copy on the website.
Messages may contain personal information voluntarily included by the sender. Avoid using a temporary address for medical, financial, identity-document, or other content requiring long-term confidentiality and recovery.
Servers may record network addresses, request times, basic browser information, API results, and abuse signals for security, rate-abuse prevention, troubleshooting, and capacity management. We do not promote “anonymous email” as an anonymous network service that eliminates network or device traces.
Log access is permission-controlled and retention is limited to operational necessity. In the event of a security incident, dispute, or lawful investigation, relevant records may be isolated and preserved until the matter is resolved.
We process email and message data to provide services you actively request, and security signals to prevent abuse and protect our infrastructure. Where applicable law requires consent for non-essential processing, we will provide a choice before processing begins.
We do not sell temporary email content or use message bodies to build advertising profiles. Aggregated statistics that cannot reasonably be linked to an individual may be used to improve reliability and plan capacity.
Hosting, network, email delivery, and security providers may process data only as necessary to provide controlled services. We require them to follow confidentiality, security, and purpose limitations and prohibit them from using message content for their own advertising.
We may disclose limited information when required by valid legal process, necessary to protect users or infrastructure, or lawfully required during a corporate reorganization. We review and narrow requests where the law allows.
Internet email may cross multiple jurisdictions, and the locations of recipient and destination email providers can affect its transmission path. We use applicable contractual and security measures with controlled providers.
International safeguards cannot change the open transmission characteristics of email protocols. Sensitive accounts should use long-term email providers that support strong authentication and appropriate encryption.
We use access controls, transmission protection, credential isolation, retention limits, and monitoring to reduce risk. No system can guarantee absolute security, so we also limit temporary inbox lifetimes and archive periods to reduce the exposure window.
Do not share inbox access credentials, login verification codes, one-time codes, or control of the forwarding destination email. If you suspect unauthorized access, pause the alias and contact support.
You can change a temporary address, let it expire, or pause and delete aliases from the dashboard. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may also have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a copy of data relating to you.
When submitting a request, identify the destination email and scope of the request, but do not send passwords, verification codes, or the full text of sensitive messages. To prevent impersonation, we will verify your identity through an email account you control or another reasonable method.
The service is not intended for children below the digital-services age of consent in their location to use independently. If a parent or guardian believes a child submitted information by mistake, they may contact support with limited information sufficient to locate the record.
Temporary email must not be used to bypass age verification, harass others, commit fraud, or engage in other unlawful activity. These restrictions are also governed by the Terms of Use.
We may update this policy to reflect changes to features, laws, or providers and will update the date on this page; material changes will be communicated in a reasonable manner. Updates do not change the status of temporary inboxes that expired and were cleared before the update.
Send privacy requests to support@vusend.com. If you are dissatisfied with the outcome, you may reply to request a review and complain to a data protection authority with jurisdiction.
